As you can see from the dates of previous posts, folks, it’s been a while since we’ve put anything on this site. But that doesn’t mean Chudleigh Writers’ Circle has gone into hibernation. Far from it! We’re gained some new members and are often bursting at the seams at each of our monthly meetings. We’ve been busy writing, publishing, performing and generally enjoying our time in the literary world. We’ve just been doing it rather quietly.
But that’s all about to change. 2018 is a big year for us. In August, we will be ten years old. And we’re going to celebrate in style. But that’s not all! There’s the eighth Chudleigh Literary Festival coming up in July. There’s our participation in the Joint Arts Project with exhibitions in July and November. And our members have their own exciting activities to talk about too. So watch out for lots of posts coming up from CWC.
But we’re all very excited about this month’s meeting. Well-known author and renowned workshop leader, Jenny Kane, will be talking to us about making use of personal experiences in our writing. It’s going to be a great session.
We’re also going to give our website a bit of a revamp. So please excuse any inconvenience and noise while we get that done. And do bookmark us and pop back every so often to see how we’re getting on.
