Exeter Literary Festival

logoGreat news for both writers and readers in Devon; Exeter will be hosting a three-day literary festival in November. There will be presentations from local authors, both well-known and less so; a series of free workshops; and a great wrap-party featuring a quiz on banned books and some wicked cocktails.

The festival runs from 16th to 18th November. Details of the programme are still being finalised, but there’s enough information already up on the festival website to whet our appetites.

And for the more mature short story writers among us, there’s a competition being run by Age UK, on the subject of ‘Takeaway Tales’. Just £3 to enter. But you need to be quick: the competition closes at noon on Thursday 27th September. You can get the details by clicking here.

More details closer to the time.
