This week we have details of a great opportunity for local writers, brought to you by CWC member, Jackie Juno.
Jackie is running two days of Creative Writing for writers in most genres, at a stunning manor house near Moretonhampstead on Dartmoor.
Each day is a stand-alone event so there is the choice to attend one or both days.
The venue is perfect to inspire creativity, with its sumptuous interior and lots of places to write. The beautiful grounds boast features such as rose garden, ancient trees, lawns, fountain, folly and ornamental gardens.
There will be lots of writing exercises and challenges to get the creative juices flowing; also opportunity to share your work and listen to others. In the afternoons there will be a critiquing session to help gain fresh perspective on any work with which you may be stuck. Guidance will be given beforehand on constructive ways to critique others’ work.
Jackie’s approach is supportive, inclusive and sensitive – and a great deal of fun!
