Fleeting Impressions of Swanwick (Part 1)

LogoSwanwick is the well-known summer writing school held every year in, well, Swanwick Derbyshire, the Hayes Conference Centre.

Sometime ago, we decided to attend and share the drive up and back together. Of course, once Kate McCormick, who is more involved in the organisation, heard she suggested we wrote a joint posting for the CWC blog. Imagine a Short Story Workshop at ChudLitFest…

On the morning of Chudleigh Literary Festival, we were treated to a short story workshop with Jenny Kane.

Jenny is well known for her Another Cup of Coffee series of novels, The Folville Chronicles, written as Jennifer Ash, and is also renowned erotica writer, Kay Jaybee. She is the co-founder of ‘Imagine Creative Writing Workshops’ along with writer, Alison Knight, and runs workshops and writing retreats throughout the South West. Continue reading
